Clarence C. Bullock
Clarence C. Bullock, 78, of Bedford, Ind., and a former Mt. Vernon resident, died Dec. 7, 2004, at Bedford Regional Medical Center in Bedford, Ind. He was born Nov. 14, 1926, in Sangamon County, a son of Henry and Goldie (Brown) Bullock. He married Betty F. (Carroll) Bullock Jan. 2, 1951 in Mt. Vernon; she survives. Mr. Bullock was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army. He was a machine operator for several years at Jiffy Manufacturing in Salem. Mr. Bullock is survived by his wife, Betty Bullock of Bedford, Ind.; a son, Gary Bullock and wife Patsy of Bedford, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Floyd of Mt. Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, George, Richard and Tom. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Brad Ryan officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 141 of Mt. Vernon. There will be no visitation.
