Vesta (Hirons) Burlison
Vesta Burlison Dies Suddenly Mrs. Vesta Burlison, a retired school reacher, died at 10:45 o'clock this morning at her home, 2414 Herbert street, at the age of 71 years, one month and 11 days. Her death was very sudden. She had been ill and called Dr. Andy Hall, whose knock on the door was unanswered. With a neighbor, the doctor entered the house and found Mrs. Burlison dead on the floor. Mrs. Burlison was born December 15, 1879 in Jefferson county, the daughter of John and carrie (Bryan) Hirons. She was married to C. Logan Burlison, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Burlison was a memb3er of the Church of Christ. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Jack Stroman of Itasca, Ill.; a half-sister, Mrs. Neil Eden of St. Louis; a half-brother, Sam Pace of Mathews, Mo., and one grand-daughter. The body was taken to Myers chapel. Funeral arrangements were incomplete.
