Jerry Bushong
Jerry BUSHONG, 55, of Sesser, died 7:13 p.m. April 23, 1999, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Mr. BUSHONG was a retired coal miner. Born June 13, 1943, in Waltonville, he was a son of Virgil and Geraldine (HOOFER) BUSHONG. May 12, 1974, he married Nancy MIKULONIS, who survives. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser with the Rev. Gene OUTLAND officiating. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral home in Sesser. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Geraldine BUSHONG of Waltonville, a son Charles Gale BUSHONG of Sesser; a brother Ray BUSHONG of Waltonville; and a sister, Geannie HALE of Waltonville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. He was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles BUSHONG Scholarship Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
