Loucetta (Bennett) Butler
Bluford Woman Dies in Rochelle, Illinois Loucetta Butler, widow of the late W.W. Butler of Bluford who died two years, succumbed at the home of her son, Monroe Butler, of Rochelle, Ill.; last Wednesday. She was 83 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Laird's church south of Bluford. The body will lie in state at the Butler home in Bluford after 3 p.m. today. She is survived by four sons, Perry of Wayne City, Herbert of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Walker and Monroe of Rochelle, Ill.; five daughters, Mrs. B.V. Vance and Mrs. Verne Whalen of Bluford, Mrs. Ora Young of Nason, and Mrs. Wallace Young of Fairfield, and Mrs. Nellie Rose of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. *Note from Sandy: Loucetta was born 1 Mar 1863 and died 12 Feb 1946, daughter of Andrew W. Bennett and Philena Jennings, also buried at Laird Cemetery.
