Carolyn S. CAPPS, 48 of Mt. Vernon died at 5:40 a.m. August 24, 1991 at her home.

She was a Beauty Operator for several years and then a loan Secretary at the Bank of Illinois, until failing health.

She was October 13, 1942 in Gary, Indiana to Wendell and Zelma (HARPOOL) WARREN.

She was formerly married to David CAPPS.

Services will be at 11 a.m, Monday at Hughey Funeral Home and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday Evening to the funeral home.

She is survived by her parents of Mt. Vernon, one daughter Sandra (CAPPS) and husband Tom LANGA of Mt. Vernon, one step-daughter Cheri (Scott) CONAWAY of Atlanta, Ind., two sisters; Linda F. (Phil) KIMMEL of Mt Vernon and Melody MEADOR of Woodlawn; three grandchildren, Matthew and Sara LANGA and Ryan CONAWAY, three nephews, John SCRIVNER JR., Michael SCRIVNER and Gabe MEADOR.

She was a member of the Central Christian Church.
