Myrna G. Capps, 64, of 626 S. 24th St., died at 12:25 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Capps was born in Jefferson County on April 4, 1913, the daughter of Birchel E. and Ruby (Fisher) Page.

She was married on Dec. 24, 1931, in Jefferson County, to Guy A. Capps, who survives.

Mrs. Capps worked for several years at the Mt. Vernon Garment Co. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hughey Funeral Home, the Rev. James L. Feaman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

In addition to her husband, Guy A. Capps, Mrs. Capps is survived by her father, Rev. Birchel E. Page, Mt. Vernon, a son, James E. Capps, Mt. Vernon; two grandsons, David and Mike Capps; and three sisters, Mrs. Herbert E. (Eva) Page, Mt. Vernon, Mrs. William (Ruth) Lankford, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Orville (Beatrice) Kent, Mt. Vernon.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon and her mother Ruby Page.
