Betty Joan Clark, 86, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:06 pm January 13, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born May 14, 1934 in Keenes, Illinois to the late Alanson and Mae (Henry) Blake.

Betty married Richard Clark on April 1, 1953 and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1988.

Betty is survived by her children, Debbie Pike and husband, Malcolm of Kentucky, Donna Langa and husband, Tom of Woodlawn, Dixie Crawford and husband, Jim of Mount Vernon, Digit Williams of Florida, Matt Clark and wife, Angie of West Frankfort, and Mark Clark and wife, Laura of Wisconsin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Michael Clark; grandson, Adam Williams; three sisters; and special friend, John R. Hughey.

Betty worked for several years as a private duty CNA. Betty was dearly loved and will be missed.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Interment will follow.
