Richard C. Clark
Richard C. Clark, 57, Route 6, died 5:25 a.m. in Good Samaritan Regional Health Center. Mr. Clark was a welder at E&T Machine Shop in Mt. Vernon. Mr. Clark was born Sept. 1, 1930, in Centralia, a son of Linzy and Zelma (Hutchison) Clark. April 1,1953 he married Betty J. Blake, who survives. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. John Capps officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by three sons, Michael Dan Clark of Miami, Matt Blake Clark and wife Charlotte, and Mark Craig Clark, all of Mt.Vernon; four daughters, Mrs. Terry (Debra Faye) Masterson of Payneville,Ky., Donna Kay Hughey of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Jim (Dixie Mae) Crawford of Bonnie and Mrs. Joe (Digit Valerie) Williams of Colorado Springs, Colo., 10 grandchildren: four brothers Harl P. Clark and wife Audria of Fort Collins, Colo., Gerald P. Clark of Cairo, Stanley Clark and wife Lenore of Mt. Vernon and Ralph E. Clark and wife Judy of Joliet; six sisters Mrs. Bill (Wyva) Bullard and Amy Martin, both of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Cottner of Logansport, Ind., Mrs. Earl (Lin) Rose of Texico, Mrs. Harold (Aletta) French of Bluford and Mrs. Albert (Judy) Schneider of St. Charles, Mo., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the Army, Korean conflict, member of Zion Methodist Church and past member of the Eagles Aerie. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Adam C. Williams.
