Word has been received here of the death of Quincy CLINTON, 83, Clarida, Iowa, a former Jefferson County resident. He died at his home Wednesday. He was a retired employee of Swift and Company.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Webster Funeral Home in Clarida, Iowa, with burial in that city.

Mr. Clinton was born in Jefferson County on November 24, 1885, the son of Barnett and Abigail (COCHRUN) CLINTON.

He was married to Edna (QUICK) CLINTON, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Hugh CLINTON, San Jose, Calif., and Warren CLINTON, Denver; one daughter, the former Mary Jane CLINTON, Boston; two brothers, Claude CLINTON, Olive Branch, and S. A. CLINTON, Ina; one sister Ada BONNEAU, Pueblo, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
