John Henry Thomas COCHRAN died at 1:34 a.m. today at his home, 911 Jones Street. His age was 62y6m28d.

Mr. COCHRAN was born 07 June 1886 in White County, IL, the son of John L. and Ada (HOBBS) COCHRAN.

In 1913, he was married, in Mt. Vernon to Myrtle RICE, who survives.

He resided in Mt. Vernon most of his life.

Surviving, besides his wife, are three daughters, Mrs. Katherine FARTHING and Mrs. Helen McCabe THOMPSON of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Dorothy CHAPMAN of Carbondale, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. M. L. BAKER will officiate and burial will be in Pace Cemetery. The body will remain at the home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday.

(Note: According to the marriage record for Henry to Myrtle Rice, his mother is listed as Mary - making her Mary Ada Hobbs.)
