Mrs. Agnes COLLINS, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry PIPER, about three miles south of the city, yesterday morning, aged 84 years.

Deceased had been sick for some time and her condition was aggravated by a shock to her nervous system by the burning of the residence of her son, Elijah COLLINS, in Dodds township, about a week ago, where she was staying.

She was conveyed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. PIPER, but she gradually grew worse till yesterday morning when death came to her relief.

Mrs. COLLINS was born in Indiana, but had been a resident of this state for many years.

Her surviving children are Charles, Isaac, Elijah and Willard Collins, Mrs. John GRAY, Mrs. Lou MORGAN, Mrs. Henry PIPER and Mrs.Susan KEATON.

The funeral was held at Wolf Prairie church this afternoon, Rev. LAWRENCE conducting the obsequies.
