Ruby Conner Of Bonnie Died At Age 79

Ruby Conner, 79, Bonnie, died 1 a.m. Oct. 24, 1990, at Jeffersonian Nursing Home.

Mrs. Conner was born Aug. 21, 1911, Pope County, a daughter of John Q. and Easter Emaline (Bradley) Bates.

She married Paul C. Conner, who died Sept. 20, 1984.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Revs. Clarence Porter and C. J. Ketterman officiating. Burial will follow in Abner Cemetery in Nason.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Conner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Phyllis) Kash and Mrs. Sandra Costley, both of Bonnie; one brother, George S. Bates of Benton; four sisters, Retta Knolls of Sun City, Ariz., Mary Gulley of Benton, Reva Allen of Bonnie, and Ruth Kupfer of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Conner was a member of Nason Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
