Laura L. Cooper

Miss Laura L. Cooper, familiarly known among her friends as "Hun", died at the family home, corner Harrison and Spring streets, at 10 o'clock this morning after a long illness.

Deceased was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Cooper. She was born in this city February 2, 1874 and was but little more than 25 years old at the time of her death.

She was a member of the First M. E. church and her funeral will be held there under the ministration of Pastor J. F. Harmon at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

The interment will be in the family burial ground at Oakwood cemetery.

Will Cooper, of Howell, brother of the deceased has been notified by telegraph of his sister's death and is expected to arrive here on the early L & N train tomorrow morning to attend the obsequies.
