Mrs. Millie COOPER, 87, of Jeffersonian Nursing Home died Tuesday at 9:35 p.m. at the nursing home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, with Rev. Merle FULLERTON officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Cooper was born November 13, 1888, in DuBois.

On April 7, 1905, in Jefferson County, she married James O. COOPER, who preceded her in death in 1965.

She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include four sons, Ray, Minneapolis, Minn., and Emery, Dale, and John of Alton; four daughters, E. K. Minnie FLEENER, Mt. Vernon, Mable GREEN and Oleta JACOBY, both of Alton, and Patricia WALSH, Cassville, Wis.; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
