Rado (King) Crider
Mrs. Rado Crider Dies at Age 97; Funeral Friday Mrs. Rado Crider, of 1204 S. 16th street, died at 4:00 a. m. today at the age of 97 years, six months and 20 days. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Harry Slattery of Benton and the Rev. Joseph Hershon officiating, and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 10 a. m. Thursday. Mrs. Crider had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for 60 years. She was born April 18, 1852 in Dahlgren, the daughter of Daniel and Martha (Hutson) King. In 1886 she was married to William Crider, who preceded her in death in 1916. Mrs. Crider was a member of the Church of God. She is survived by three sons. Everett and Roy of Mt. Vernon and Floyd of East St. Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Maud Davis of East St. Louis, Mrs. Flora Williams of Wood River, Ill. and Mrs. Cora Patterson of Coscoton Ohio; three brothers, Daniel King of Mt. Vernon, Ed King of Benton and James King of Alton, Ill.; two sisters, Effie Easley of Mt. Vernon and Caroline Fetter of Alton, Ill.; and 22 grandchildren.

She was a member of the Bethel Tabernacle church.
