Mayme Agnes (Moss) Culli
Mrs. Mayme Moss Culli, Former Resident, Dies Mrs. Mayme Culli, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, died in a Corpus Christi, Texas Hospital.Moss She was the widow of Dr. Oscar Culli. In 1928 Dr. and Mrs. Culli moved from Mt. Vernon to San Antonio, Texas, where he practiced medicine until his retirement in 1955. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Culli made her home in Taft, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in San Antonio, Texas, with burial in the Masonic cemetery. Mrs. Culli was born April 6, 1885, in Shiloh township, the daughter of Douglas and Ella (Coleman) Moss. She was a member of the Pioneer Moss family which settled in Shiloh township in 1818. On May 10th, 1907 she was married to George Oscar Culli, who died February 2, 1960. She is survived by a son, George, Jr., of Taft, Texas; two grandsons and three great grandchildren; and a brother, Ed B. Moss of Mt. Vernon.
