Death has again come on the morning of December 6, 1910, at 7:25, claiming as its victim the kind and loving father and husband, Richard L. DAGG.

Mr. DAGG was born in 1841 near Johnsonville, IL.

He was a kind and loving father. He professed a hope in Christ when quite young and united with the United Brethren Church at Bluford, IL in 1908. He afterward united with the Christian Church at Wayne City, IL, where he was a faithful member until God said "well done my faithful servant, come, I will give thee rest."

Mr. DAGG enlisted in Company F 98th Illinois volunteers, serving three years during the Civil War, receiving an honorable discharge.

He was a faithful Christian and beloved to all who knew him; a kind husband and affectionate father, and always considerate of others before himself.

Mr. DAGG was united in marriage to Manerva J. JOHNSON at Mill Shoals, IL October 30th, 1860.

To this union were born eight children: John A. Logan, William Sherman, Richard M., Dicy J. STULL of Dahlgren, Minnie F. WILLIAMS, of Austin, Arkansas, Mary Lee ROACH of Ward, ARKANSAS, Zinia Mae NEWLIN of Bluford, IL, and Edith.

The mother, three sons and daughter Edith preceded the father to the Great Beyond.

Mr. DAGG was united in marriage again to Mrs. Emma Isabel CUMMINS of Sylvania, Arkansas, September 17, 1910, at Little Rock, Arkansas.

He leaves a wife and four daughters, twelve grand-children, two sisters, Phoebe GENTLE, Okolona, Arkansas, Margaret DAVIS, Bluford, a half-brother, Riley LANE, Bluford and two step-daughters. The wife and daughters have the sympathy of all in their great bereavement. The funeral was at the First Presbyterian Church by Rev. HOGAN. Interment at Sylvania Cemetery, Sylvania, Arkansas.
