Mrs. Vonnia Calvin Danner of RFD 3, Mt. Vernon died at 12:55 this morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. Mrs. Danner, wife of Hubert D. Danner, was 61 years, four months and 26 days of age.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Heitmeyer will officiate and burial will be in New Shiloh cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 3;00 p.m.

Mrs. Danner was born August 28, 1894 in Dodds township, the daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Roberts) Baltzell. She was a lifetime resident of Jefferson county.

On February 6, 1922 she married to Hubert D. Danner, who survives.

Mrs. Danner was a member of the First Baptist church and a charter member of the Jefferson County Home Bureau.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Garren of Dix; one son, Robert Sherwood Danner of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Herman Mayhew of Roselle, Ill., Mrs. A. T. Darche and Mrs. Ruie Prindle of Chicago, Mrs. John R. Glenn of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. R. T. (Leeopal) Hails of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. I. H. Davis.
