Mrs. Ada Davis Dies at Age 76

Mrs. Ada Davis ddied at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at her home, 1714 Isabella avenue. Her age was 76 years, one month and 16 days.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at Myers Chapel, with Edwin Hayden officiating, and burial was to be in West Salem cemetery.

Mrs. Davis was born November 26, 1872 in Shiloh township, the daughter of William R. and Mary A. (Bullock) Piper.

She was married to james C. Davis, who preceded her in death january 23, 1925.

Mrs. Davis was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wade Gowler of Mt. Vernon, and one grandson.
