Winnie Davis Dies; Teacher in Mt. V. Schools Miss Winnie Davis of 111 Oakland avenue, a teacher in the Mt. Vernon schools for many years, died at 7:33 p.m. yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past three days. She was 66 years, 11 months, and one day old. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Herbert J. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Prairie cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. Miss Davis was born Nov. 27, 1898, Jefferson county, the daughter of William A. and Jennie (Crosno) Davis. Survivors include four brothers, Norman, Willis, John, and Joe Davis, all of this city.
