Winnie E. Davis Of Webber Twp. Dies at Age 72

Mrs. Winnie E. Davis died at 3:20 p.m. yesterday at her home on RFD, Bluford, in Webber township.

She was 72 years, eight months anad 11 days of age.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at East Higckory Hill Church. The Rev. Harodl Mayberry and the Rev. Everett Apgar will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time.

Mrs. Davis was born September 30, 1880 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Staley) Etheridge.

She was married to W. R. Davis, who survives.

Mrs. Davis, a lifetime resident of this country, had been a member of East Hickory Hill Baptist Church since she was 17 years of age.

She was a member of the Royal neighbors.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Everett L. of Memphis, Tenn. and Earl R. of Munster, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Howell of Opdyke and Mrs. Jesse Fletcher of Dayton, Ohio; and one grandchild.
