Chas. Davis Dies Suddenly At Home Near Ina Charles Davis, 76, was found dead at his home near Ina Sunday. Death was due to an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville with the Rev. Jack Ketterman officiating. Burial will be in Abner cemetery near Nason. The body will lie in state at the Fry Funeral Home where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Davis was born April 22, 1889, in Jefferson county, the son of John and Martha (Benthall) Davis. He was married to Josephine Dalby, who preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John Nociar of near Ina; two brothers, Bill and John Davis of Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Bateman and Mrs. Ella Pitchford, both of Sesser; and four grandchildren. Mr. Davis was a veteran of World War I.
