Mrs. John Dintelman

Mrs. John DINTELMAN, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Voss, on Conger avenue, at 6:30 this morning, of catarrh of the stomach.

Deceased was the step-mother of Mrs. Adam Culli and was sixty-five years of age.

She was born in Raubach, Germany, November 12, 1834, and came to America thirty-three years ago and located in St. Clair county, where she spent the greater part of her life.

A few years after coming to this country she was married to Philip Gutiwine, of St. Clair County. Of this union two children were born, of which one survives and is an employee of the car shops of this city.

In 1872 she was wedded to John Dintelman, by which marriage one daughter was born, with whom the deceased has made her home since she came to this city last March.

The funeral will take place tomorrow. The interment will be at Oakwood cemetery.

Based upon the 1880 census in St. Clair, Co, IL - John Dintelman age 54 is living with wife Maria age 46 and both say they were born in Germany.
