JOSEPH DIAL Died, on Saturday morning, April 9, 1887, at the late residence in Spring Garden township, aged 63 years. He had Bright’s disease of the kidneys and dropsy.

He was buried at Hickory Hill cemetery on the 10th.

He came from Union county, Kentucky, just 16 years ago, leaving four children married there and bringing five with him. Of these three has since married, the son James H. to Malinda J. , daughter of Henry Hays; Nancy J. to P. K. Crosno, and Mollie C. to Stephan A. Arnold.

May 20, 1877, Mr Dial married Elizabeth, oldest daughter of Wm. Wells, who has been called to mourn the loss of both husband and father in less than a week.
