Mrs. Maud May DOBBS, a respected resident of Spring Garden Township for the past thirty years died Saturday morning at the family home. Her age was 57 years, 8 months and 24 days.

Mrs. DOBBS was born May 5, 1880 in Franklin County, Illinois, but moved to Spring Garden township many years ago.

She was united in marriage to Oscar DOBBS, June 28, 1924 and he survives.

A good woman she was, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Her parents Silas and Nancy RIGGS preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am Tuesday morning in the Ina Baptist Church. The body will remain at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harl FITZGERRELL, until the funeral hour.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Helena Mc FADDEN of Madison, Wisconsin, Mrs. Gretta FITZGERRELL of Ina, Mrs. Wanetta WALKER of Benton, Mrs. Norma HALE of Peoria and two sons, Byford JONES of Bonnie and Kenneth JONES of Ina, three brothers, Guy RIGGS and Ed RIGGS of Mt. Vernon and Bert RIGGS of Bonnie, and two grandchildren.

Rev. M. L. BAKER will conduct the funeral service and burial will follow in Knolles Cemetery.
