William T. Dodson, a veteran of the Civil War, died yesterday morning at his home in Irvington. He had been ill two months.

He was 89 years old, the last member of Company E. 136th regiment to die.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Charles Witzel of Park Avenue, George Dodson of Irvington, with whom he made his home; Arminnis Dodson of Boyd, Sherman Dodson and Mrs. S. L. Foutch of Tames, Ill., and Mrs. George Benjamin of Richview. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great great-randchild.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church at Irvington at one o'clock Thursday afternoon. At three o'clock, services will be held at the Hopewell Church in this county. Internment will be made in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Mr. Dodson formerly lived near Boyd.
