Pat A. Douglas, 81, of Mt. Vernon died 8:42 p.m. Jan. 30, 2005, at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Douglas was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Dahlgren to John Patrick and Flossie (Wicks) Garrison.

She married Leon F. "Doug" Douglas April 25, 1954, in Dahlgren; he died May 13, 1981.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Gilbert Daniels will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by a son, Harold Lee Douglas and wife Rachel of Mt. Vernon; daughters Delores A. Downey and husband Charles of Mt. Vernon, Jacque Nondorf and husband Bob of Trenton and Linda Floyd and husband Don of Opdyke; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Mrs. Douglas was a member of Dahlgren Methodist Church for 35 years. She was a member of Jefferson County Home Extension since 1968.
