Frances Jean (Keil) Dycus
Frances Jean Dycus, 78, of Bonnie died 10:35 a.m. Nov. 11, 2005, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born April 2, 1927, in Du Quoin, a daughter of Theodore and Fay (Polly) Keil. She married Donald Walker Dycus April 1, 1949, in Morganfield, Ky.; he preceded her in death July 8, 2001. She is survived by two sons, James M. Dycus and wife Margaret of Mt. Vernon and Donald R. Dycus and fiancee Sandi Lee of Sea Side, N.C.; three daughters, Tracey Adams and husband Elic of Bonnie, Polly Molnar of Springfield and Karen Throgmorton and husband Stephen of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Connie Kuberski of Du Bois; two brothers, Ted Keil and wife Virginia of Du Bois and Henry "Pete" Keil and wife Donna of Alma Center, Wis.; nine granddaughters, Angie, Amy, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Tara, Leslie, Kalen, Mallory and Makenzie; four great-granddaughters, Kylie, Ashley, Emilee and Serenity; and three great-grandsons, Lane, Aidan and Cash. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Brian Dycus; and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with Brad Ryan officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
