Mrs. Rose Anna Dycus, 83, of Waltonville, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in Pinckneyville Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Waltonville Methodist church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Bobby Logan will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in this city. The body will lie in state at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Dycus was born Aug. 22, 1883, in Perry county, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Faust) Stern.

She was married to Irvie Dycus, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, and a foster son, Henry Rust.

Survivors include six sons, John Edgar Dycus of Mt. Vernon, Charles Dycus of DuBois, Arthur Dycus of Birmingham, Ala., Ray Dycus of Olney, and Robert and Donald Dycus of Waltonville; two daughters, Mrs. Alene Alexander of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Rosemary Harris of Peoria; two brothers, Henry Stern of Chester; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
