Raymond J. Emmerson
R.J. Emmerson Dies in Texas; to Bring Body Here Rraymond J. Emmerson, son of the late Morris Emmerson, died yesterday at Lubbock, Texas, according to word received by relatives here. The body will be brought to Mt. Vernon for burial, but funeral plans were incomplete today. Mr. Emmerson was born May 4, 1881, in Albion, Ill., the son of Morris and Ida Hararis Emmerson. His age was 64 years, 11 months and 18 days. Surviving are his widow; the former Marie Schillinng; one son, Harris Emmerson of Birmingham, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. David Hart of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Green and Anna Emmerson, both of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Capt. George H. Emmerson, with the U.S. Navy services in Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren. Emmerson Funeral At Grave Friday Funeral services for Raymond J. Emmerson will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at the grave in Oakwood cemetery, with the Rev. James Burke officiating. The body is scheduled to arrive in Mt. Vernon at 9:35 am Friday. Mr. Emmerson died Monday in Lubbock, Texas.
