Elbert E. Eyre Deis in Peoria; Funeral Here Elbert E. Eyre, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday in Peoria, Ill. at the age of 37 years, eight months and four days.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Donley of Peoria officiating.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour.

Mr. Eyre, who had resided in Peoria for the past 11 years, was employed at the Caterpillar Tractor Company.

He was born May 3, 1913 in Mt. Vernon, the son of Fred and Daisey May (Wimberly) Eyre.

He was married to Faye Oard, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Martin Keith Eyre of Peoria; two brothers, Kindy Eyre of Phoenix, Arizona and H.W. Eyre of Mt. Vernon; and four sisters, Mrs. Marcella Holdman of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Betty Hunt of Abilene, Texas and Mrs. Aline Cash and Mrs. Nola Thomas of Mt. Vernon.
