Irl R. FARLOW, 79, of McLeansboro died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in his home at 110 East Market.

Mr. FARLOW was born in Jefferson County on February 26, 1892, the son of F. Marion and Marian (REDMAN) FARLOW.

He married Ester SCHMIDT.

Mr. FARLOW was a member of the First Baptist Church of McLeansboro and a veteran of World War I. He was in the hardware business in McLeansboro for 30 years.

He is survived by one son, Melvin of McLeansboro; two brothers, Guy of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Lawrence of Bloomington; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude PUCKETT of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Donelson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert LARNER and the Rev. Harry GARETT officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call after 23 p.m. today at the Donelson Funeral Home
