Electa Farquer Dies at Age 88; Funeral Sunday

Mrs. Electa May Farquer died at 4:9090 pm yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. C. Foster, 907 Salem Road. Her age was 88 years, nine months and four days. Mrs. Farquer, of Clinton, Mo., was a former resident of Mt. Vernon. She had been residing for the past two and one half months at the home of her daughter here.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Wilkinson Chapel in Clinton, Mo. and burial will be in Rockville cemetery. The body has been taken to Clinton, Mo.

Mrs. Farquer was born April 14, 1862 in Mason City, Ill., the daughter of James G. and Olive Grace (Moore) Shelby.

She was married to John K. Farquer, who preceded her in death.

Her only survivor is her daughter, MRs. A. C> Foster of Mt. Vernon.
