ELK PRAIRIE WOMAN DIED THURSDAY

Mrs. Martha Farthing, widow of F. P. Farthing, who died June 3rd. died at the home of her granddaughter Mrs Guy Dare in Elk Prairie last Thursday.

Mrs. Farthing had been in failing health for several months having taken her bed a short time before her husband's death. She was 78 years of age.

Her maiden name was Kirk.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Mrs. Fay Dare and Mrs. Reeva McGhee.

She is also survived by one twin brother, S. J. Kirk of Benton, and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Rogers of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral was held at the Elk Prairie Christian Church Friday, conducted by Rev. C. L. Wood of Keenes. Burial at Kirk.
