Ezra Ferguson Dies at Age 76 At Mt. V. Home Ezra Ferguson, a farmer, died at 8:00 o'clock this morning at his home 1200 south 13th street. Mr. Ferguson died only two days after observing his 76th birthday. He was born November 13, 1875 in Jefferson county the son of Tyler and Rosa (Black) Ferguson. He was married to May Hicks who preceded him in death in 1910. Mr. Ferguson is survived by four sons, Alson of Herrin, Dalton of Kell, Howard of Mt. Vernon and Harrold of Salem, five daughters, Mrs. Eithel Wilson of Opdyke, Mrs. Venetta Six of Dixon, Mrs. Winnie Mullins and Mrs. Pearl Boothby of Salem and Mrs. Loretta Hertenstein of Bonnie, one sister Mrs. Emma Payne of Waltonville; 23 grandchildren an six great grandchildren. The body was taken to Myers Chapel. Funeral arrangements were incomplete. Ezra Ferguson Funeral Services for Ezra Ferguson 76, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist church. The Rev. Marsh Harpoole will officiate. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour. Mr. Ferguson died at 8:00 o'clock yesterday morning at his home, 1200 south 13th street. He is survived by his wife Nona. He was preceded in death by his first wife May Hicks.
