Eliza Ann Fettinger, 94, of Mt. Vernon died 6:10 p.m. Jan. 4, 2000, at St. Mary’s/Good Samaritan.

Mrs. Fettinger formerly worked at Swift Packing Co, and then the Knitting Factory.

She was born Sept. 18, 1905, in McLeansboro to Willie and Cora (Porter) Davis.

She married William Noel Fettinger on Sept. 6, 1982, in Mt. Vernon; he survives.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnston Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Kenneth Holland officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Petersburg, Ind. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fettinger is survived by two sons, Lewis Ray Fettinger of Jacksonville, N.C., and Jerry Allen Fettinger of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Fay Fulcher of Washington, Ind., and Rose Sharon Clark of Shelbyville, Ind.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fettinger was preced in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.
