Betty M. Fisher, 60, of Mt. Vernon, died at 7:46 p.m., Oct. 25, 2006 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Betty was born on Jan. 23, 1946 in Jefferson County to Carl E. Crawford and Clara J. (Hughey) Crawford.

She married Jackie L. Fisher on July 1, 1967 in Jefferson County, he survives.

Betty was a teller for 20 years at Bank of America in Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Rev. Mike Steed will officiate. Burial will follow at Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband Jackie Fisher of Mt. Vernon; son Brent Fisher of Mt. Vernon; brother Dale Crawford of Mt. Vernon; sister Peggy Scott of Centralia; brothers-in-law Bob Fisher and wife Jean of Overland Park, Kan., Donald Fisher and wife Norma of Mt. Vernon; sisters-in-law Jo Ann Fisher of Granite City, Maxine Badgett of Mt. Vernon, Mildred Hall of Ferguson, Mo.; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Her parents, son Brian Dale Fisher and father and mother-in-law, Alonzo and Sylvia Fisher preceded her in death.

She was a member of Logan Street Baptist Church and loved to collect angels.
