Louis R. Fitzgerrell Of Ina Dies At Age 77 Louis R. Fitzgerrell, 77, Benton Road, died 3:05 p.m. March 31, 1988, at Crossroads Community Hospital. Mr. Fitzgerrell was born Jan. 8, 1911, in Illinois, a son of William D. and Mattie (Scarbough) Fitzgerrell. He first married Louise Pulley, who precede him in death April 20, 1961. Aug. 10, 1963, he married Katherine Morris, who survives. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. Dale Burzynski officiating. Burial will follow at Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Masonic rites by Ewing Masonic Lodge 705 AF & AM are scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fitzgerrell is survived by a daughter-in-law, Margaret Fitzgerrell of Ina; a granddaughter, Pam Fitzgerrell of Ina; a grandson, Brad Fitzgerrell of Ina; two sisters, Mrs. Brook Irvin of Belle Rive and Mrs. Nelle Moss of West Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fitzgerrell was a member of Ina Baptist Church. He was a member of Moose Lodge 755, Ainad Temple of East St. Louis, White Shrine of Jerusalem, the Jefferson County Historical Society and the Ewing Masonic Lodge. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Fitzgerrell; a granddaughter, Vicki Fitzgerrell; a grandson, Jon Fitzgerrell; and three brothers.
