Brian C. Fleri age 20 of Mt. Vernon died 4:43 p.m. Friday June 13, 2008, in Wayne County as the result of a farm accident.

Brian was born March 3, 1988 in Mount Vernon, Illinois, a son of William and Teresa (Sanders) Fleri.

Brian was a Student at Rend Lake College Studying Agriculture Production. He had been an active member of the Mt. Vernon Township High School FFA; He received the Dekalb Award and State FFA Degree. Brian was a member of the National Hot Rod Association and was an avid hunter. He had attended the Bakerville Free Will Baptist Church in Bonnie.

He is survived by his parents Bill and Teresa Fleri of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Laura Fleri of Mt. Vernon; paternal grandparents, Sam and Virginia Fleri of Mt. Vernon; Maternal grandparents, Paul and Roberta (Gaines) Sanders of Mt. Vernon; one aunt, Shari and husband Jay Holsapple; three uncles, Thomas Fleri and wife Patricia, John Fleri and wife Mary and Jim Fleri and wife Debbie; and several cousins and great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Janis Fleri.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Pastor. Michael Sheets officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Friends May call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IL.
