Joella Foreman Dies; Funeral In Waltonville

Mrs. Joella Foreman, 78, of 619 Broadway, died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

She was a former resident of Waltonville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Fry Funeral Home in Waltonville. The Rev. Gus Smith will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home in Waltonville, where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Foreman was born May 9, 1887 at Bentleyville, Pa., the daughter of Elgy and Ruth (Morton) Carson.

She was married to Willie Foreman, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Foreman was a member of the Universalist church at Waltonville.

She is survived by one son, Carson Forman of Waltonville; one brother, John Carson of Waltonville; two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Farr of Aurora, Ill., and Mrs. Alta McRoberts of Coal Center, Pa; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son.
