MRS. ELIZABETH A. FREEMAN - Elizabeth Anroe EUBANKS was born in Franklin County, Alabama on the 10th day of February, 1818. When she was six years old her parents moved to Carroll County, Tenn., and six years later they moved to Washington County, IL, where the larger part of her years were spent.

In October, 1834, she was married to Jacob Freeman: this union was blessed with thirteen children, five of whom still survive their mother; James S. of Webb City, MO; Zenas of San Diego, CA; George C. of Tangier, OK; Sylvester of Sheller, IL; and C. E. of Topeka, KS.

Also Mrs. Rosetta BOSWELL, of Sheller, IL, who never knew any mother but Mrs. FREEMAN. Her husband died in 1861.

For the last ten years she has made her home with her son, James S., at Webb City, MO, where she departed this life and received her coronation on the 31st day of July, 1914. aged 96y5m21d.

In addition to those named before she leaves thirty-three grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; including those gone before her, the total number of her direct descendants number one-hundred and six souls.

The last five years of her life, were years of great victory, despite the fact that she was confined to her bed almost continually. Hundreds who came to visit her bedside left with a blessed benediction resting upon them; during these years she helped by direct contribution in the erection of four churches; one of these being the building in which the services were held over her remains.

Grandma Freeman was the last surviving member of Minson Church, she having helped in its organization in 1837. For more than eighty-two years she served faithfully the one who now has taken her to be with Him forever. Her life shall always be one of precious memory. "She is not dead, but sleepeth."

The body was brought from Webb City, MO, to Ashley, IL, and thence to Minson Church, in Blissville Township, where the funeral was preached by Rev. J. C. KINISON, the pastor of the Wesley M. E. Church, of Mt. Vernon, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, August 2nd, to a large concourse of people; her body was laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church.
