Lenna Belle (Gregory) Fry
Mrs. Lenna Fry Dies at Bluford; Rites Wednesday Mrs. Lenna Belle Ry died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at her home in Bluford, at the age of 81 years, eight months and nine days. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion church, with the Rev. Bird Green officiating, and burial will be in Mt. Zion cemetery. The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home at Dix until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, then will be taken to the family home in Bluford, where friends may call until the funeral hour. Mrs. Fry was born October 16, 1868, the daughter of Dr. L. B. and Eliza (Cochrane) Gregory. She was married February 28, 1889 to James A. Fry, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Fry is survived by three sons, Walter R. of New Jersey, Lester H. of Mt. Vernon and Jabe of Mexico, Mo.; six daughters, Mrs. Grace Thompson and Mrs. Cecil Braddy of Bluford, Mrs. Helen Malloy of Rockford, Mrs. Edna Sammelson of Ames, Iowa, Mrs. Alice Smith of Cixon, Ill, and Mrs. Pauline McConnaughhay of Iuka; three sisters, Mrs. Saphronia Sledge and Mrs. Leona Brookman of Bluford and Mrs. Ida Morgan of Colrea, Calif.; 16 grandchlidren and 20 great grandchildren.
