Luther Fryar, 93, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Ina, died 11:15 p.m. , Aug. 1, 1996 at Paradise Valley Hospital, Phoenix.

Mr. Fryar was a horse trainer.

He was born Dec. 28, 1904 in Franklin County, a son of Walter and Nancy (Atchison) Fryar.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hope Cemetery, Ina, with the Rev. Russell Wolfe officiating. There will be no visitation. Johnston Funeral Home of Ina is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Fryar is survived by his wife, Mildred Blair Fryar of Phoenix, and several nieces and nephews, including Billy Dave Fryar and wife Rosalee of Whittington.
