Edward L. Funkhouser, 84, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson.

He was born Dec. 29, 1903 in Dale, Illinois.

Before retiring he was a furniture salesman and an Auditor for the State of Ill. and for Drilling and Pumps of Henderson.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Union Grove, Wisc.; a son Lynn N. Funkhouser of Henderson, three daughters, Nancy E. Davis of Ely Nevada, Jo Alice Hofer of Greenville IL. and Dolores Fry of DuQuoin IL., 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will start at noon Saturday and services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary in Henderson. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Mt Vernon IL.
