Paul P. Gajewski, 92, of Scheller, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at the Mt. Vernon Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon.

Paul was born July 2, 1914, in Scheller, the son of Roman and Eva (Van Hoorebeke) Gajewski.

Mr. Gajewski was a farmer. He was a member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Scheller and the Du Bois Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by a sister, Marie Kania of Tampa, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gajewski of Desoto, Mo.; special cousin Marie and husband Henry Wyciskalla of Scheller; and many cousins.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Julius, Raymond and Adolph Gajewski; and one sister, Sister Aquiline Gajewski.

There will be a Mass of Remembrance held at a later date. Burial will be at St.Barbara’s Cemetery in Scheller. As per his wish, he will be cremated.
