Harry Garrison
Harry J. Garrison, 63, Olney, died at 7:06 a.m. Tuesday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. He was born June 29, 1922, in Mt. Vernon, a son of Ray T. and Ruth (Jacobs) Garrison. On Dec. 25, 1944, in Mt. Vernon, he married Edith Troutt, who survives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Olney with the Rev. David McNabb officiating.. Burial will be at the Crest Haven Cemetery in Olney. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Summers Funeral Home in Olney. In addition to his wife, Mr. Garrison is survived by one son, Bradley Garrison of Olney; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Garrison of Flora and Jack Garrison of Mt. Vernon. The deceased was a veteran of World War II and member of Olney Elks Lodge 926. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Olney for 25 years. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Olney.
