Mary Garrison Mt. Vernon

Mary Eleanor Garrison, 62, 2 S.E. Crescent Drive, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Garrison was born in Hanover, Jan. 15, 1921, the daughter of Moss A. and Florence (Miller) Marcum.

On Nov. 27, 1947, in Mt. Vernon, she married R. LeBen Garrison, who survives.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Myers-Baril Chapel with the Rev. Billy G. Hahs officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Garrison was the financial secretary for the Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters, Lee Ann Strini of Milwaukee, Jane Elizabeth Ward of Normal and Nancy M. Kaelin of De Soto; one son, John Ruis arrison of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Margaret Wilson of Carlsbad, Calif.; one brother, Tom Rogers of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
