Clarence “Red” F. Glover
Clarence “Red” F. Glover, 81, 807 Woodland Drive, died at 1:58 p.m. April 22, 1986 at Crossroads Hospital. He was born December 29, 1904, in Hamilton County, a son of Charles and Louise (Cates) Glover. On October 18, 1934, he married Aline Mick, who survives. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home with Rev. Rudolph Schlag officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 6 p.m. on Thursday at Hughey Funeral Home. He was a member of Bible Haven Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Glover is survived by one son, Tom Glover and wife Debra of Mt. Vernon; one foster daughter, Mrs. Carl (Naomi) Womack of Enfield; one sister, Mrs. Helen S. Mathus of Mt. Vernon; 4 foster grandchildren and 9 foster great-grandchildren. Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 4 sisters and two foster great-grandchildren, Jody and Stacy. He was a retired sheet metal worker at Eater Sheet Metal. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 268 at Collinsville.
