Guy Gowler

Funeral services for Guy Gowler, 76, of Paducah, Ky., a former resident of Mt. Vernon, were held Saturday at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah.

Mr. Gowler died last week at his home.

He was born at Bluford on July 5, 1900, the son of james Mack and Annie (Burnett) Gowler.

He was married to Ailine Scrivner, who preceded him in death in 1960.

Mr. Gowler is survived by one son, Jimmy Ray Gowler, of Herman, Mo.; a sister, Margaret King, Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Myrtle Harsbarger, Mt. Vernon, and Amy Rees, Princeton, Ind.; two brothers, Ray A. Gowler, Wayne City, and Glen W. Gowler, Dahlgren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Norman Webster Gowler.
