Emma Groves, 83, Dies in Gary, Ind., Funeral in Mt. V.

Mrs. Martin Henn received word this morning that her sister, Mrs. Emma Groves, 83, died at 8:00 am today at Gary, Ind.

She was the widow of Isaac Groves, who died in 1941. The body will be brought to Mt. Vernon for funeral services and burial. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Groves is survived by one son, Roy, of Gary, Ind.; one brother, John Tribble of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Mrs. Martin Henn of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ray and Ralph, and a daughter, Mrs. Stella Malone.

Rites Thursday for Emma Groves

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Groves, 83, will be held Thursday at 1:30 pm at Myers Chapel. The Rev. O.E. Connett will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Groves died at 8:00 am yesterday at 8:00 am yesterday in Gary, Ind.

The body will arrive in Mt. Vernon Wednesday and will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 2:00 pm Wednesday.

Mrs. Groves is survived by one son, Roy of Gary, one brother, John Tribble of Mt. Vernon, one sister, Mrs. Martin Henn of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
